Being an American living in Eastern Europe with 100% Slavic roots I think I can talk somewhat intelligently about Russian women. This is not only about what they are like but who you might want as a lifelong mate if you have ever thought of dating a Russian girl. I am not trying to sell you anything. This is my personal experience based on me living here in Eastern Europe and being married and my family coming from here. You might disagree but this is how I see it.
There is one main issue with women from Moscow to St. Petersburg. They have positive qualities like beauty and intellect and culture. These qualities are in my opinion greater than American women (generally). Russian women are less feminists than Western European girls, but they do not always have strong religious values. They may or may not be from a family where morals and values that Russian culture was based on and built on. This is the real issue and you should take it seriously.
If you are thinking about a Russian women read my lips, build your house on a foundation not on sand, but like the Bible says build it on stone.

Being Slavic and Eastern European in the value system there is a belief that suffering is good for the soul. I believe though suffering you purify your inordinate desires and become a greater person. Well although this sounds a bit hard, it is not, it is growth. You have have good suffering and bad heartache. The good type might be like fasting or fitness or studying hard to learn a language even if it takes years. If you ever meet a Russian woman or girl who has this philosophy, my recommendation is do everything you can to win her heart. This is a Russian lady with the values of the old ways. She would be a worthy bride.
New wave Russian girls
Avoid these girls like the plague, many times they are Russian girls living in Los Angeles or London.. They are basically girls that have the Slavic looks but values that are not about anything but selfishness. Most Russian girls are somewhere in between. I think they are better than American girls for love and marriage but you have to be understand they will not simple be your little peasant girl serving you pie and ice cream every night in your American apartment.
You need to win their heart. I am married to a Eastern European princess, but I never moved back to the USA. I stayed in Kraków. My wife and I are selfless and believe in humility and server to the other. If you can find a Russian girl who believes this like you and if your other half you will be happy. But if you think you can just fly to Russia and find and girl or bride and export her to the USA you have to be joking.
