I apologize for bad English.
Information is true, but there is false information. but I am not writing to criticize. I want to tell a little about my country.
I live in Russia. I was born in the Urals. you know where the Ural Mountains? my city with them. in Russia there are many holidays. We are celebrating three new year: new year, old New Year (January 14. NEW YEAR on the old calendar) and the new school year ( September 1. when children begin to learn). The summer holidays last 3 months – all summer long. Weather rarely pleases warm Ural region. Hot only 3-4 weeks. Snow from October to April.

It’s very interesting to read about our nation. Most of this info is true, but alcohol is really problem for Russia. And you forgot to notice the ability to unite against global problems.
However, I thought that popular foreign impression or opinion are bears, vodka, winter and so on.

Самое смешное что вы(европейцы,американцы) думаете что у нас здесь ходят по улицам медведи с балалайками в лаптях

Хотя бывает в некоторых городах случаи валазки медведей на окраины города..но это исключение чем правило, по крайней мере в моем городе…Лет 5 назад женщина выполняла пробежку по окраине города и ее разорвал медведь..бывает и такое.

Yes, you are right, all stereo types are bad and I do not mean to generalize, this was based on statistics but maybe those are wrong and times have changed. I actually really like the Russian people. I am Slavic and like Eastern Europe.

To tell the truth, most of this information are true, but I want to add some information.
First of all, you said that Russians drank hard, it is not really so. I had been in many countries, such as England, Italia, Spain and so on. There are nationalities, who drank much more harder than Russians. Fortunatelly, it’s only a stereotip of Russians. But I don’t understand why other nationalities don’t have this stereotip))
